About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the Valpolicella Classica area, in hillside vineyards north of Verona. The reddish-brown soils contain limestone and basalt deposits.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. They undergo 6–8 days of maceration, followed by traditional fermentation in contact with the skins.
Ageing
The wine rests in oak barrels for up to 12 months, depending on the vintage.
