Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Contrada Troncarea and Mesola delle Volpi vineyards. Clay soils contribute concentration and depth of flavour, while the warm, sunny climate and limited rainfall promote ripe-fruit sweetness and aroma.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. Temperature-controlled maceration is followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts, developing a rich fruit profile.
Ageing
The wine ages for six months in French and American oak barriques, softening the tannins and adding subtle vanilla and spice notes.

Soft in texture, with concentrated ripe-fruit flavours, rich fruit aromas, supple tannins and subtle notes of vanilla and spice.
