For several generations, two winegrowing families were connected by the same land in Salento, sharing their secrets, knowledge, skills, and winegrowing culture.

Founding of A6mani

In 2011, three cousins from these families brought this shared experience together by founding the company. The winery describes itself with the phrase "Women in love with their land" and as "three women, six hardworking hands, and one shared passion for winemaking."

Today

The team is fully dedicated to bringing out the potential of the native grape varieties grown in the heart of Primitivo di Manduria, aiming to preserve the craftsmanship of their ancestors through modern technology.

The estate lies in Salento, where red earth, shaped by the hidden rhythm of the rock beneath it, has blended with limestone and clay to form fertile soil. The climate is mild apart from hot summer days, with very little rainfall. Coastal winds regularly bring cool sea air and moisture to the vineyards, creating a balance of soil and air described as producing conditions for wines of quality and reflecting a long winemaking tradition. The vineyards are located in the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria area.
