Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the estate’s vineyards in Castiglione and Randazzo, on black soils containing traces of sand, minerals and volcanic ash.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second week of October and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Maceration proceeds in two stages: two days at 10 °C, followed by six days at 28–30 °C. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in stainless steel.
Label / history
The name Aglaea refers to the youngest of the three Graces, daughters of Zeus.
