Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in Bolgheri and the Maremma, planted at approximately 100 m above sea level. The soils combine sand, clay and limestone. Vines are trained using spur-pruned cordon and Guyot systems.
Grapes
A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks. Maceration and fermentation together last 20 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in barrique, followed by three months of bottle ageing.
