Vineyard and terroir
Orleto comes from vineyards in Bolgheri, within Castagneto Carducci, at approximately 80 m above sea level. The soils combine sand, clay and limestone. Vines are trained to spur-pruned cordon. The grapes are harvested by hand.

100% Cabernet Franc.
Vinification
Lots are vinified individually. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, with maceration and fermentation together lasting 30 days.
Ageing
Individual lots are aged separately. The wine matures for 24 months in barrique, followed by 12 months in bottle.
