Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from the hills of Barbaresco and San Rocco Seno d’Elvio in Alba. The vineyards face from east to south-west and have marly soils dominated by limestone, with thin veins of sand. The vines were planted between 1960 and 1978.

Grapes

100% Dolcetto. Dolcetto represents a traditional grape, vineyard, and wine, as well as an expression of the area’s diminishing biodiversity.

Ageing

The wine matures for a few months in steel tanks.

Tasting profile

A youthful red with ruby and violet hues. Its fragrant bouquet combines floral and fruity aromas. The palate is full, harmonious, and elegant, ending with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
