Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from selected sites in the Isarco Valley between Chiusa and Bressanone, at elevations ranging from 500 to 920 metres above sea level. The vineyards have sandy, gravelly and schist soils. The valley’s cool climate, elevated sites and volcanic slate contribute crispness and precision.

Grapes

100% Müller Thurgau.

Vinification

Fermentation takes place under temperature control in stainless-steel tanks. The introductory vintage note records that the 2023 wine was deliberately bottled unfiltered to retain a richer mouthfeel while preserving the variety’s freshness.

Ageing

Approximately four months on the lees in stainless-steel tanks.

Technical data

  • Vintage: 2024
  • Alcohol: 12.5% vol.
  • Organic certification indicator: Bio

Tasting profile

Brilliant, clear and bright straw-yellow with a green shimmer. The youthful, semi-aromatic nose combines apricot and apple with floral nuances and nutmeg. Light-bodied, elegant and structured on the palate, with lively freshness and a dry finish.

Serving and pairing

Suitable as an aperitif and with starters, salads, and grilled or fried seafood. Best enjoyed within one to two years.

Vintage notes

The structured wine data identifies the current vintage as 2024. A separate introductory note describes the 2023 vintage as intentionally bottled without filtration, giving it a richer mouthfeel while retaining characteristic freshness.
