Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from selected vineyards around Magrè and Salorno in the southern part of Alto Adige, at elevations of 230–420 m. The soils are rocky and sandy with a significant limestone component. Pinot Grigio—also known as Grauburgunder or Pinot Gris—is widely cultivated in Alto Adige.
Grapes
Pinot Grigio.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks. A small component is fermented in contact with stems and skins. This use of skin- and whole-grape-fermented components is intended to build texture while complementing the wine’s freshness.
Ageing
Approximately four months on lees in stainless steel.
Technical data
The 2024 vintage has 12% alcohol by volume.
