Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Montenisa estate’s vineyards in the heart of Franciacorta, near Lake Iseo. The Antinori family acquired the estate in 1999.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle.
Ageing
The wine ages on its fine lees for 36 months.
