No dosage is added after disgorgement.
Ageing
Before secondary fermentation, the cuvée matures in oak barrels for six months. It then ages on the lees for at least 60 months after secondary fermentation.
Tasting profile
Fresh, elegant and well balanced, with Chardonnay contributing generosity and Pinot Nero minerality. Extended lees ageing brings structure and complexity, while the absence of dosage preserves a subtle, pure and precise character.
Label / history
The wine joined the “61” range in 2009. The range is named after the first year in which Berlucchi produced Franciacorta sparkling wine.
