Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the clay soils of the “Alberello” vineyard in Puglia.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and macerated in oak barrels for up to 45 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in French oak barrels for 12 months, followed by a further year in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
