Vineyard and terroir
The Dolcetto comes from old, south-facing vineyards planted between 1953 and 1955 at 300 m above sea level. The soils are clay and marl.
Vinification
A dedicated winemaking process preserves the range of flavours associated with grapes from the Gavi area. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine ages in steel tanks.
Tasting profile
The nose offers a varied floral character.
Label / history
Produced in small quantities, “Le Pernici” is the only red wine made by La Meirana.
