Grapes
Lacrima is typical of the low hills between Vallesina and the coastal town of Senigallia. The grapes are firm and release small, tear-like drops of juice as they ripen.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed. They undergo six days of skin maceration, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests for four months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by two months in bottle.
