Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from young vines.
Vinification
The fruit is hand-picked at the end of September and fermented in stainless-steel tanks for eight months.
Ageing
The wine matures in Allier oak barrels for at least one year. It is not intended for long-term cellaring, but gains depth and becomes more settled after five to six years.
Tasting profile
A softer expression than Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, it is lighter and less rounded, with a lively, youthful character and ample freshness.
