Vintage notes
The 2012 Tuscan harvest was small after two very cold weeks in February and cool, wet conditions during flowering in May. Warm, dry weather from June through August raised drought concerns, prompting intensive soil management and vine protection. Rain at the end of August restored needed moisture and prolonged the grapes’ ripening period.
