Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in a vineyard on the slopes of Montello, an area known for its iron-rich soil.
Grapes
Manzoni is named after Professor Luigi Manzoni (1888–1968), director of the Conegliano School of Viticulture and Oenology. The variety was created by cross-pollinating Pinot Bianco and Riesling flowers.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in September. They undergo a short period of skin contact, followed by gentle crushing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, preserving a balance between freshness and richness.
Ageing
The wine ages in stainless steel tanks for around 8 months on the lees, which adds depth. It then spends three months in bottle before release.
Tasting profile
Elegant, balanced and mineral, with a refined aroma. It is ready to drink now.
Serving and pairing
Serve chilled with fish or seafood dishes.
Vintage notes
The 2024 vintage received the "Quality/Price" award in the digital edition of Gambero Rosso's Berebene 2026.
