Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Negroamaro grapes are grown in Puglia, where the variety is native.
Vinification
Traditional red-wine vinification is used. Fermentation is deliberately stopped to retain residual sugar, while the temperature is kept as low as possible throughout the process to preserve bright fruit aromas.
Tasting profile
Aromas and flavours of rose, strawberry jam and rosemary convey the warmth of the Puglian terroir.
Serving and pairing
Pair with legumes, meat or vegetable dishes.
Label / history
Bossato is a range focused on local grape varieties from different Italian regions. Castellani has worked with farmers and cooperatives throughout Italy for many years to produce the wines.
