Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Nero is grown in Sicily. The warmer climate gives the red berry flavours a ripe character without losing the grape's natural delicacy. Warm days help the grapes ripen evenly, while cooler nights preserve acidity, giving a balance of juicy fruit and freshness.
Vinification
After harvest the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, which keeps the aromas pure and the fruit fresh. Skin maceration lasts 15–20 days.
Tasting profile
Clear ruby colour. An elegant red with bright berry fruit and gentle spice. The style is ripe yet focused, with pure fruit character and a soft texture. Tannin structure is moderate and not heavy, with plenty of depth without too much firmness. Juicy fruit is balanced by freshness.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with duck, mushroom pasta and grilled veal. The balance of fruit and freshness makes it versatile with food.
