Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Castellani’s organic vineyards in Sicily. The vines are cultivated without synthetic fungicides, herbicides or fertilisers, in accordance with EU organic standards in Italy, to preserve the environment’s natural balance.
Grapes
The blend comprises Sangiovese, Syrah, Cabernet and Merlot.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first weeks of September. Fermentation and maceration follow traditional methods.
Ageing
The wine is aged in stainless-steel tanks.
