Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the 11 ha Santa Lucia plot, 100 metres above sea level. The ancient soils are made up of layers of tuff, sand and gravel.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. The must is then filtered and fermented at 16–18 °C.
Ageing
After fermentation the wine matures in tanks kept at a consistently low temperature before bottling.
