Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the oldest vineyard on the Castelvecchio estate, in the Karst area of the province of Gorizia near Sagrado. The terrain is arid and rocky, with only a shallow layer of red earth rich in iron and limestone. Constant ventilation and the influence of the nearby sea shape the site.

100% Malvasia, selected from the finest bunches.
Vinification
The grapes are selected manually and pressed gently. Fermentation takes place in non-vitrified concrete tanks.
Ageing
The wine remains sur lie in concrete after fermentation.
Technical data
DOC Carso. Available in 750 ml and 1.5 L formats.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow with green reflections. The broad aromatic profile combines floral notes with aromatic herbs, sage, apple and apricot. The palate is rich and persistent, with mineral and savoury qualities leading to a fruity finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12 °C. Pair with fish and shellfish appetizers, pasta, soups or risotto.
