Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay is grown in the municipality of Ottiglio Monferrato.
Vinification
After a short maceration, the grapes are pressed. The must begins alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks at 18–20°C, then completes fermentation in small French oak barrels until the sugars are fully fermented.
Ageing
The wine rests for several months in the same small French oak barrels used to complete fermentation.
Tasting profile
The nose is fruity, while the palate is well balanced and persistent.
Label / history
The label was created by the artist Alessandro Luppano (1925–2000).
