Questo vino

Fieronero is a semi-dry, semi-sparkling Lambrusco Emilia I.G.T. with a deep colour and a style balancing an assertive character with a lively, convivial profile.

Vineyard and terroir

The Lambrusco grapes come from vineyards in Modena Province.

Grapes

Lambrusco Grasparossa and Lambrusco Salamino.

Vinification

The grapes are destemmed and vinified as a red wine in contact with their skins. About halfway through alcoholic fermentation, the free-run must is transferred to a pressurised tank. Charmat fermentation then continues for approximately three weeks at a controlled temperature of 15–18°C.

Technical data

Alcohol: 10% vol. Residual sugar: 23 g/L. Bottle size: 750 ml.

Tasting profile

Dark purple, with a lively pink mousse showing violet reflections. The bouquet is full and harmonious, with wild-berry aromas and spicy nuances. The palate is smooth and elegant, marked by red-fruit flavours.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 6–8°C. Versatile across a meal, it is particularly suited to pizza, pasta with meat ragù, charcuterie, boiled meats, barbecue dishes and mature cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano.
