Vineyard and terroir
The Vigna Cancor vineyard lies in the Cembra Valley at approximately 500 metres above sea level, where the valley’s characteristically steep slopes become gentler.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum ripeness toward the end of September. After gentle pressing, the must is settled and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for 9–10 months with regular bâtonnage, followed by 6–7 months of bottle ageing before release.
Tasting profile
Soft and refined, with the characteristic petrol-like aromas of Riesling.
