Vineyard and terroir
Nebbiolo comes from hillside vineyards in La Morra, planted at 250–300 m above sea level with easterly exposure. The soils are calcareous-clay. Vines average 5–10 years of age, with a density of 3,700 plants per hectare and a yield of 55 hl/ha.

100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled maceration takes place in steel.
Ageing
The wine matures in steel and then in bottle.
Technical data
Alcohol is 13.5–14%, with acidity of 5.2–5.6 g/L. Annual production is approximately 10,000 bottles. Available formats are 0.375 L, 0.75 L and 1.5 L. Cellaring potential is 5–6 years.
Tasting profile
Brilliant garnet red with ruby highlights. The fresh, floral and fruit-driven bouquet combines violet and peony with redcurrant, wild strawberry and cherry, alongside spicy nuances. The palate is warm, dry, crisp and inviting, shaped by fine tannins and a pronounced mineral line.
Serving and pairing
Pair with agnolotti in meat sauce or with stewed and roasted red or white meats.
