Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards around Montorso Vicentino and Vicenza. Wines from the area are known for elegance, balance, distinct freshness and delicate aromas.
Vinification
The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, which preserves their freshness and vibrant fruit aromas.
Ageing
A short period in neutral vessels gives the wine a harmonious, balanced taste.
Tasting profile
Light and balanced, with a bright flavour.
Serving and pairing
Pairs especially well with seafood and white meat. Best drunk young, within 2–3 years of bottling. Decanting before serving is not recommended.
Label / history
Cielo e Terra was founded in 1908. The name combines terra, "earth", with Cielo, the surname of the founding family. The winery is run by fourth-generation brothers Luca and Pierpaolo Cielo and is one of the largest producers in the Veneto. With winemakers from the Colli Berici Group of Cellars, it takes part in a project to improve the production and agricultural sector of the Berici Hills, from vineyard to bottle.
