Vineyard and terroir
The Berici Hills (Colli Berici), between Verona and Padua, are a range of ancient volcanic formations. The climate is very mild and sunny, with Mediterranean characteristics. Winegrowing has flourished there for thousands of years, and the associated growers cultivate around 4,000 ha of vineyards.
