Cielo e Terra was founded in 1908. Its name combines terra, the Italian word for “earth”, with Cielo, the founding family’s surname. Pietro Cielo began expanding and improving production in 1930, and the company planted new vineyards and increased output in 1962. It is now run by fourth-generation brothers Luca and Pierpaolo Cielo.
