Label / history
The Terre di Ghiaia range is bottled with screw caps. Cielo E Terra was founded in 1908; its name combines terra, the Italian word for “earth,” with Cielo, the founding family’s surname. Pietro Cielo began expanding and improving production in 1930, and new vineyards were established in 1962. The winery is now run by fourth-generation brothers Luca and Pierpaolo Cielo.
