Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown on the marl and basalt soils of Monte Castello in Baone. These volcanic soils are rich in minerals and trace elements.
Grapes
Selected Cabernet Sauvignon is supplemented by small amounts of Merlot and Carmenere.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully sorted and crushed, then fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks, contributing a fresh, clean character.
Ageing
The wine matures for at least 12 months in barriques, followed by a further six months in bottle.

Intriguing and notably powerful, the wine is rich, deep and well balanced, with a fresh, clean character.
