Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the producer’s vineyards in Veneto.
Grapes
Glera is blended with a small proportion of Pinot Nero.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. Glera ferments in stainless-steel tanks and remains in contact with the fine lees. Pinot Nero is vinified as a red wine, with five days of cold maceration followed by fermentation. After blending, the cuvée undergoes a second fermentation in stainless-steel tanks using the Charmat-Martinotti method.
Ageing
The Pinot Nero matures on its lees for several months.
Serving and pairing
Serve chilled as an aperitif, or pair with light appetizers, fish, seafood or cheese.
