Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from several vineyards in La Morra, planted in calcareous-clay soils at a density of 5,500 vines per hectare.
Grapes
100% Dolcetto.
Vinification
Skin maceration lasts five to six days at 27°C.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks, followed by further bottle ageing.
Tasting profile
Deep ruby red with purple highlights. The aromatic profile is distinctly fruity, with blackberry and marasca cherry. Broad, soft fruit expands across the palate while retaining freshness. The flavors are delicate yet persistent, ending with a gentle almond note.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 15–16°C with poultry, roasted white meats or first courses. The expected ageing window is 2–6 years. Available in 0.375 L half bottles and 0.75 L bottles.
