Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie at the foot of Mount Etna, in the commune of Castiglione di Sicilia on the volcano’s northern slope. Carricante is grown at elevations above 700 m in volcanic soils and requires careful attention in the vineyard.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the final week of October. After pressing, they undergo one day of low-temperature maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine is aged in stainless-steel tanks.

Aromatic freshness is accompanied by delicacy and elegance.

Etna Bianco was added to the Cottanera range in 2009.
