Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from a low-yielding biodynamic vineyard in Collio Friulano, planted on marl soils rich in sandstone. The vines are 60 years old.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in open wooden vats with wild yeasts naturally present on the grape skins. The wine remains in contact with the skins for around one week and is bottled without filtration.
Ageing
The wine ages for 30 months in large wooden barrels.
