Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown biodynamically in Friuli Venezia Giulia at an altitude of 130 m, on clay soils, and are harvested by hand.
Vinification
The wine macerates on the skins for 35 days and ferments with naturally occurring yeasts in open acacia and oak vats. It is bottled without fining or filtration.
Ageing
It ages for 12–24 months in large acacia barrels.
