The wine matures in small cement and stainless-steel vessels.
Tasting profile
Elegant and silky in texture, with lively acidity, a refined aroma and an inviting finish.
Label / history
The name Tergeno means “born of three,” referring to the wine’s original composition of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer. Its style changed substantially in 2014, when Fattoria Zerbina began making it from Albana. Average annual production is approximately 3,000 bottles; in some years, several hundred magnums are also produced.
