Storia
Early years
In 1990, at the age of fifteen, Federico Graziani signed up for his first wine-tasting course to explore a growing passion, which soon became a profession and changed his life. By 19 he was a professional wine taster, and at 23 he won the AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) competition as Italy's best sommelier. This gave him the chance, at a young age, to work at a high level alongside Gualtiero Marchesi, Stefano Cavallini, Bruno Loubet, Carlo Cracco, and Aimo and Nadia Moroni.
Studies and move toward winegrowing
Driven by curiosity and a desire to keep improving, Federico continued his studies and earned a degree in viticulture and oenology in 2006. That same year, he met Salvo Foti, a Sicilian wine consultant. Their friendship and mutual respect gave Graziani the motivation to become a professional winegrower. Alongside his studies, Federico continued working as a consultant and wine educator. In 2012, he began working with the wine company Feudi di San Gregorio as regional manager for central and northern Italy.
Discovery of Etna and first wine
Also in 2006, Federico visited the historic wine-growing areas around Etna at the invitation of Salvo Foti, hoping to gain a deeper understanding of the region's wines. That short trip marked the beginning of a new life. By chance, he learned that a century-old local vineyard in the Passopisciaro area was about to be uprooted. He decided to buy it, preserving this small corner with its history. Years later, through his work with I Vigneri, and with the support of Salvo Foti and Maurizio Pagano, Federico released his first wine, "Profumo di Vulcano," marking the start of his independent journey in the world of wine.

Vinificazione
The first wine, "Profumo di Vulcano," was released years after the purchase of the century-old Passopisciaro vineyard, through Federico Graziani's work with I Vigneri and with the support of Salvo Foti and Maurizio Pagano. This release marked the start of his independent journey in the world of wine.
