Vineyard and terroir
The Glera is grown at the historic family estate of Tenuta Civranetta, near the Venetian Lagoon. The vines are cultivated organically and biodynamically in dense loamy clay soils containing limestone concretions. Breezes from the nearby sea contribute to the grapes’ distinctive character and aromas.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed before the first fermentation. Once the base wine has stabilised, it undergoes a second fermentation by the Charmat method for at least eight weeks, producing finer bubbles.
