The story of the winery began at the Tenuta Civranetta estate, where Lorenzo Fidora's grandfather, Ferruccio, started selling wine made from grapes.

1970s

Lorenzo's father, Guido, began looking for ways to manage the soil while respecting the balance between plants, animals, the land, and people. He was guided by the words of Galileo Galilei, who held that everything is connected by invisible bonds, and that one cannot pick a flower without disturbing a star.

1974 to today

Lorenzo Fidora, from Padua, has farmed organically since 1974. He now makes wine at the Civranetta di Cona estate in the province of Venice, where vineyards sit alongside grasslands, woodland corridors, and wetlands, and a rich variety of wild plants and animals coexists with farming.
