Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on the Rotaliana Plain and the hills of Lavis in the Trento region. The area has a distinctive climate and predominantly limestone and sandy soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed to preserve their anthocyanins. Traditional red-wine vinification includes skin maceration under controlled temperatures. Fermentation and maceration last 15 days.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in barriques.
