Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow on the hills of Pressano and Sorni, in the commune of Lavis, at 300–500 m above sea level. The soils are clay and sand. A suitable microclimate and constant airflow allow fruit with vivid aromas and flavours to ripen.
Grapes
Nosiola is a rare local grape.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and pressed immediately on arrival at the winery to limit oxidation. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 10 days.
