Vineyard and terroir
The Castelletto vineyard lies in the hills of Monforte d'Alba, on a favourably situated slope.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of October and fermented for 15 days at 28–31 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures for 30 months in 500 L oak barrels, followed by one year in bottle.
