Label / history
The Giuseppe Mascarello family company has made wine for more than a century and a half. Giuseppe began his career managing the vineyards of Marchesa Giulia Colbert Falletti di Barolo and established his own winery by the end of the 19th century. His son Maurizio left the building-materials business to take over the family company in 1923. In 1967, Giuseppe’s grandson Mauro continued the winemaking tradition and introduced a sorting table for selecting the finest grape bunches. Mauro’s son Giuseppe joined the business in 1996, focusing on promoting the company alongside Mauro’s wife, Maria Teresa. The family maintains its traditional winemaking practices while incorporating modern scientific and technical advances.
