Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from 10–20-year-old vines in Serralunga d'Alba, planted on clay-limestone soils.
Vinification
The wine macerates in cement vats for 20–25 days, with pump-overs more than three or four times daily.
Ageing
It rests for 6–8 months in stainless-steel vats and cement tanks.
Tasting profile
Pure fruit notes are accompanied by balanced tannins. The wine is approachable, fresh and relatively light.
