Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the estate’s vineyards in the Soave region. The vines were planted between 1970 and 1998 at 170–210 m above sea level on volcanic soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in September and October, then destemmed and crushed at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 18 °C for 15–20 days, followed by partial malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for six months with regular bâtonnage, followed by a further one to three months in bottle in the winery’s cellars before release.
