Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Aglianico comes from the Bosco Faiano vineyard, on sun-drenched slopes rising above the Calore River. The soils are clay, rich in limestone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand from late October to early November, then sorted and destemmed at the winery. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at carefully controlled temperatures.
Ageing
The wine is aged in French oak barriques for 18–24 months. After bottling it rests a further 18 months or so in the winery's cellars.
