Storia
La Delizia was founded in 1931 as Cantina Sociale Cooperativa Destra Tagliamento. It is now called Viticoltori Friulani La Delizia and is the largest wine producer in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It brings together more than 500 winegrowers who own 2000 ha of vineyards. Exports today account for 65% of its production. Working with research institutes, the company experiments with grape clones and is developing its own nursery.
Terroir
The member vineyards stretch across the Friulian plain within the DOC zone. The winery describes the conditions of the area as ideal for growing grapes.
