Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the municipality of Treiso at 330 m above sea level and in Magliano Alfieri at 220 m. The vines are 25 years old on average.
Vinification
Harvest timing varies with the weather each year, but the grapes are generally picked between 20 September and 5 October. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel vats at a controlled temperature of 26–28 °C for 10–12 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in French oak barrels for 12 months, followed by eight months in the winery’s cellars after bottling.
