Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from three La Spinetta vineyards in the municipality of Neive. The vines are 18–21 years old on average.
Vinification
The must undergoes maceration and fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks for 14–15 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in old French oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in the same old French oak barrels, followed by approximately six months in bottle.
